Department of Consumer Affairs and partners offer free credit card help on Wednesday, June 24, 4-6pm.

The California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) knows some Californians are struggling with debt and may find it difficult to pay their bills. For those consumers, credit counseling can be a lifesaver. That is why DCA will be working with partners who will provide free, valuable information to consumers.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2009, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., DCA will open its phone lines to consumers who have questions about their credit card issues or who want to discuss specific credit relief options.

The number to call is 1-800-952-5210.

Experts from ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions, a National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) member, and others will be on hand to answer questions.

Don't let the struggling economy take your finances hostage!
